Sun Glitters
Luxembourg’s Victor Ferreira has spent a large number of years perfecting his craft, culminating in the perfectly chilled and mysterious songs of Sun Glitters. Released back in March, his debut LP ‘Everything Could Be Fine’ is a beautifully constructed album designed to fill your head with disconnected thoughts and spacious soundscapes. Sun Glitters’ sound is an ocean of lush melodies, pitch-shifted vocal samples, ghostly digi-diva choirs, warm bass lines driven by alternately dense and relaxing beatwork combinations between downtempo and wonky beats.
Last month, California’s Ufolk Records released a Sun Glitters remix album entitled ‘Everything Could Be Remodelled And That’s Fine!’, showcasing how his work has been interpreted by the likes of Blackbird Blackbird, Teen Daze, Space Ghost, and :papercutz, among many others.
